SKU for the products
If you are selling to the international market, ( out Brazil) using SKUs is mandatory.
If you use ShipOffers or EagleLabs, follow one of the tutorials below to avoid integration issues:
- EagleLabs
- ShipOffers
Otherwise, you can assign any random SKU you want.
What is a SKU?
SKU stands for Stock Keeping Unit.
It is a unique code you create to identify a product in your inventory.
What Is a SKU Used For?
SKUs are used to:
- Manage inventory
- Differentiate product variations
- Facilitate logistics and order fulfillment
Practical Example
Product: Black T-Shirt
- Black T-Shirt S → SH-BLK-S
- Black T-Shirt M → SH-BLK-M
- Black T-Shirt L → SH-BLK-L
Each variation has its own SKU.
Important Rules
- Each SKU must be unique
- Do not repeat SKUs across different products
- It’s recommended to follow a consistent pattern (e.g., category-color-size)
