Setting Up a Custom Checkout by Product

CartPanda allows you to create a custom checkout for each product, enabling a more strategic and targeted experience for every offer.


With this feature, you can use exclusive banners, product-specific social proof, and adjust the layout according to your offer, increasing the chances of conversion.


All configuration is done directly in the CartPanda dashboard, in a simple way.

In this article, we will show you the step-by-step process.


How to Create a Custom Checkout by Product


In the CartPanda dashboard, go to Admin > Checkout.

Click Add Template.



A pop-up window will appear.


Then:

  • Enter a name for the template
  • Choose the checkout type: 1-page or 3-step.
  • Click Save



After saving, the new checkout will appear in the template list.


How to Link the Checkout to a Product


In the created template, click the “All products” option.

A pop-up will appear for product selection.


Then:

  • Select the products you want to link to the checkout
  • Click Save Changes



Done! The selected products will now use this custom checkout.


How to Edit the Checkout


To make layout changes:

Under Actions, select the pencil icon.


You will be redirected to the checkout editor, where you can customize banners, social proof, and other elements according to the product strategy.



Template Priority by Product


Even if other products use the default checkout, the template linked to a specific product has priority.


This means that when a customer accesses the checkout of a product that has its own template, the custom checkout will be displayed instead of the default one.
