Setting a password on your store
The Cartpanda platform offers a feature that allows you to temporarily block access to your store.
This feature is ideal for moments when you need to disable checkout or store navigation, such as during maintenance, updates, tests, or strategic adjustments.
To enable this function, go to Admin > General > Password or click here.
Enable the password option by checking the corresponding checkbox, then click Save.
Stores With Password Enabled
Whenever your store password is enabled, any attempt to access your store will be redirected to orders.cartpanda.com.
Access attempts to your store/checkout that would result in an empty cart or a block due to the absence of Cartpanda Pay (with AFID present) will also be redirected to:
This ensures that customers are not blocked by a password page they cannot access.
Stores With Password Disabled
With the password feature disabled, users will be redirected normally to the checkout.
