Creating a Digital Product

Selling digital products on CartPanda is very simple.


In this article, you will learn how to create and configure a digital product so your customer automatically receives access after the purchase.


Creating a Digital Product


In the side menu, go to Products > List Products and click Add Product > Digital




Once you do this, the product configuration page will open. There, you can:

  • Define the product name
  • Add a Access instructions
  • Upload images



Configuring the Digital Content


In the Digital Content section, enable the option Enable digital content (product deliverable).

Then choose how you want to deliver the content:


  • File or Link



Delivery via File


Click Choose File and select the desired material.


The maximum allowed size is 20MB.


If your file is larger than 20MB, use an external link (such as Google Drive) with public access enabled and insert the link in the digital content field.


Important: If the digital content field is empty, the checkout will request the customer’s ZIP/Postal code.


When you add a file or link, the checkout will display only personal information and payment fields, without shipping.


You can also enable the option Show download button on the thank you page, allowing the customer to download the material immediately after payment.


Access Instructions


The access instructions configured on the product page will be automatically displayed on the thank you page after the purchase.


In this field, clearly explain to your customer:


  • How they will receive access
  • How long it will take
  • Which email will be used
  • Whether they will receive a login, an app, or a membership area link


If you added a file or link in the digital content section, the customer will automatically receive a CartPanda email with the deliverable after the purchase.

You can edit this email at: Admin > Notifications > Order Confirmed (Digital Product)


Product Images


Add one or more images to improve the presentation of your product.


After this, your item will already be configured as a digital product.


How Digital Product Delivery Works


If the payment is approved immediately and the download option is enabled, the customer will see the download button on the thank you page and will also receive an email with access to the product.


Resending the Digital Product


To resend the access to the customer:


  1. Go to Orders > All Orders
  2. Click the desired order
  3. Select Resend download email
