# What are Season Runs?


**Season Runs** are seasonal races within Cartpanda Ranks.

They don’t replace the annual Ranks cycle but create parallel competitions over shorter periods, with unique, high-impact prizes.

## **How they work**

* All participants start from zero.
* Each Run has its own timeframe and rules.
* The prize is awarded only to the leader at the end of the race.
* To participate, you must **opt in** to the public leaderboard.
* Once you join a Run, your position on the leaderboard becomes permanently visible.

## **Goals of Season Runs**

* Create intense and competitive challenges.
* Give more visibility to vendors, affiliates, and co-producers.
* Strengthen the community around aspirational prizes.
