Offer discounts based on payment method.

Through the CartPanda checkout, it is possible to offer exclusive discounts based on the payment method.

This is an efficient strategy to influence payment behavior, such as reducing the use of bank slips (boleto) and prioritizing payment methods with higher conversion rates.

How to Activate the Discount

Step 1

Setting it up is very simple. Go to Discounts → Settings, or click here, and enable the discount for the desired payment method.

Step 2

Next, fill in the required information.

Discount Percentage

Enter the desired discount value. For example: 5 for a 5% discount.

Message

Below this field, you can define the message that will appear in the checkout.

It should be short and attention-grabbing, for example: 5% OFF.

Background Color

Customize the background color of the message.

Text Color

Change the text color of the message.

Once the discount by payment method is activated, it will be automatically applied to all future purchases made with that payment method, according to the defined percentage.

The discount becomes active immediately after it is enabled.

Finally, when you activate the credit card discount option, the discount will appear highlighted in the checkout as “5% OFF” (or the percentage you define).

Once selected, the discount will be automatically applied to the order total.
