Manage your store's notifications

CartPanda automatically sends email notifications and, in some situations, SMS messages to keep your customers informed about everything happening with their orders

from confirmation and updates to abandoned carts and refunds.


These notifications help reduce customer questions, improve the buying experience, and increase trust in your brand.


Email notifications can be edited directly in your store dashboard, while SMS messages are sent automatically based on your store configuration and the customer’s country.


Where to Find Notifications


To access your notification settings:


  1. Go to your store Admin panel
  2. Navigate to Settings → Notifications
  3. You will see the complete list of notifications available for editing



Adjusting the Abandoned Cart Email Timing


At the bottom of the page under: Admin → Notifications → Abandoned Cart


You can configure how many minutes after abandonment the email should be sent.


Examples:

  • 1 hour
  • 3 hours
  • 24 hours



Email Notifications

Below are the main emails automatically sent by your store.


Order Confirmed

Sent immediately after payment confirmation, even if the customer does not reach the Thank You Page.

This ensures that all customers receive confirmation of their purchase, regardless of whether the redirect occurs.


Order Updated

Sent automatically when a customer accepts an upsell offer after completing the initial order.

This email includes:

  • Newly added products
  • Updated order total
  • Complete order details

This template can be edited at:

Settings → Notifications → Order Updated


Abandoned Cart (Email)

Sent after the configured delay defined by the store owner (for example: 1h, 3h, or 24h).


This notification is part of a 3-email recovery sequence.


You can customize:

  • The message
  • The timing
  • The design

All directly inside the dashboard.


Adding Coupons to Notifications (Abandoned Cart)


You can increase conversion rates by offering a discount directly in the abandoned cart email.

Steps:

  1. Create a coupon in Discounts → Coupons
  2. Open the Abandoned Cart notification template
  3. Insert the coupon code into the email text or CTA button
  4. Save the changes


When the customer clicks the link, the coupon will be automatically applied at checkout.


Internal Notifications for Your Team


The platform also allows your team to receive internal notifications about new sales.

To enable this:

  1. Activate the option in the Notifications settings
  2. Add the email addresses of the responsible team members
  3. Save the configuration
