Languages and translations - Global Market
Understand in this article how the translations applied to the checkout and transactional emails work.
In addition to Portuguese, the checkout and email notifications support 6 other languages:
German
Spanish
French
Dutch
English
Italian
Checkout Page Translation
If your checkout is using the original texts and has not been edited, the titles, subtitles, buttons, and other elements of the page will be automatically translated according to your customer’s geographic location.
This means that if your customer is in a country or territory where one of the languages listed above is the official language or the most widely spoken, the translation will occur.
For example, if the user is in Germany, Austria, or Liechtenstein, the German language will be loaded.

If your customer is in another country or territory outside the listed languages, English will be loaded by default. For example, if your customer happens to be on the remote island of Ma'uke (just in case).
However, if the checkout texts are edited manually, the automatic translation will no longer occur, giving priority to the edited texts. This allows you to create a customized communication for customers in your target country.
If you want to modify the translation for a specific language, the change must be made directly in the checkout code.
Email Translations
Similar to the automatic checkout translation, email notifications will also be sent according to your customer’s address.
Additionally, you can view and edit the emails for each of the supported languages through the dropdown menu within the email editor.

If you have any questions, contact our team through the platform chat or send an email to suporte@cartpanda.com.
