General Information - Global Market
Cartpanda allows you to reach Multiple Markets creating new sales opportunities for customers around the world.
When activating Global Market, some new dynamics will become available along with small changes in the checkout behavior.
Activating Global Market
You can view and activate the Global Market feature in Admin > Markets and Marketplace.

Defining fixed prices in specific markets
Recently, an update was implemented on the platform allowing merchants to have more precise control over the prices of their products in different countries and currencies.
With this feature, merchants will be able to:
- Create Markets: Merchants can create specific markets, segmenting their products for target countries and currencies.
- Set fixed prices: One of the main features of this functionality is the ability to define fixed prices for products and their variants. This means that when adjusting a product’s value, the automatic currency conversion at checkout will be disabled, showing only the value defined by the merchant.
- Restore automatic conversion: Merchants have the option to restore automatic currency conversion if they wish to return to the previous pricing system.
- Check current exchange rate: In addition, a new functionality allows merchants to check the current automatic conversion rate, ensuring transparency and constant updates.

Important notes
- Defined prices: After creating a market and defining the values, note that any changes in the original product prices in BRL will not affect the values that were manually defined.
- Countries with the same currency: Price changes will affect exclusively the country of the created market, not necessarily the currency. This means that when defining a value for a product in Euros for a specific country, other countries in the Eurozone will not be affected by the price adjustment. The same principle applies to countries that share a common currency, such as Ecuador, which uses US Dollars.
- Deleting a market: If a market with defined fixed prices is deleted, the values will return to being automatically converted on the checkout page.
Checkout
Currencies
The checkout will identify your customer’s country through Geolocation and, in this way, convert the price of your product from Reais to the local currency of your customer’s country.
On the page with the order details, the amount paid by your customer in the foreign currency will be displayed, followed by the purchase amount in USD.
Your account currency will, by default, be in Dolars (USD). It cannot be changed, since the checkout will automatically perform the conversion.
Languages
Based on Geolocation, the checkout will automatically translate into the following languages:
English
French
German
Dutch
Spanish (AR)
Spanish (CO)
Spanish (ES)
If your customer is located in a country outside the list of languages above, English will be loaded by default.
When editing the checkout, if the text fields for titles and subtitles in the data, address, and payment sections are empty OR contain the default texts, the automatic translation will be displayed to your customer. If these fields are edited, the customized texts will be displayed both in global checkout.
This means you can create a specific language according to your preference for the target country’s customer.
Layout
For international sales, Cartpanda will automatically adjust the layout, such as adding and/or removing fields, according to the country in question, adapting to the local market for maximum conversion.
If your customer is in Brazil, the standard Brazilian checkout layout will be loaded.
Shipping
When activating Global Market, 7 new shipping regions will automatically be created for each of the supported languages and their respective countries.
There will be a Free Shipping rate with the name of the rate already translated into each of the supported languages. This automation will happen only once and will not affect previously created rates.
If necessary, you can still create individual zones for each country or region of your choice.

Payment provider
Cartpanda Pay offers the following payment methods:
- Credit Card
- Express Checkout: Apple Pay
- Express checkout: PayPal.
PayPal are only available for physical products and are not supported for digital products.
In the global market, Cartpanda Pay includes the Cartpanda Retry functionality.
Cartpanda Retry is a feature that performs automatic retry attempts to reprocess payments that were declined, whether due to insufficient funds, temporary failures, or other decline reasons.
The goal is to recover sales that could otherwise be lost, automatically increasing the approval rate without the merchant needing to take any manual action.
