For vendors and affiliates: Affiliate and co-producer commissions
In this article, you will understand how affiliate and/or co-producer commissions work within CartPanda.
We will explain how the amounts are calculated, the priority order of the revenue split, and how you can manage and track earnings, whether you are a producer, affiliate, or co-producer.
How Commission Splitting Works
When a sale is made involving an affiliate, co-producer, or both, the revenue split occurs after CartPanda Pay gateway fees are deducted.
In other words:
1️⃣ Gateway fees are deducted from the order first.
2️⃣ Then the commission split is applied.
The priority order of the split is: Affiliate → Co-Producer → Producer.
Priority Order in the Revenue Split
Affiliate: receives the commission first, according to the configured percentage or value.
Co-Producer: receives their share after the affiliate commission is calculated.
Producer: receives the remaining amount.
Types of Commission
There are two commission models:
Fixed Commission (CPA)
The producer defines a fixed amount per sale, regardless of the net value after fees.
Example:
Product sold for: $100.00
Defined commission: $40.00
Regardless of fees or variations, the commission will always be $40.00 per sale.
Percentage Commission (Revenue Share)
The commission is calculated based on a percentage applied to the amount after the gateway fee is deducted.
In this model, the final commission amount may vary depending on the applied fees.
The fees for international transactions through CartPanda Pay vary according to the selected plan, starting at 9.9% + R$1.50 per sale, regardless of the sale currency.
- Light: Flat fee for international sales 9.9% + R$1.50 per sale
- Starter: Flat fee for international sales 9.5% + R$1.50 per sale
- Premium: Flat fee for international sales 9.0% + R$1.50 per sale
- Advanced: Flat fee for international sales 8.5% + R$1.50 per sale
